The Stables Cafe is located at Rivendale Holiday Park, in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. Housed within the stone-walled reception building, guests at Peak District Yurts have convenient and direct access to the Cafe - making it an ideal stop for a hot breakfast, or quick takeaway coffee before heading out on one of the many Peak District walks accessible right from your Yurt front door!
Open daily to everyone (including those not staying at Rivendale Holiday Park or Peak District Yurts), The Stables Peak District Cafe is open from 9am-5pm and offers Lavazaa Coffee, freshly made and locally sourced lunches, cakes and cream tea'.
Staying in a Yurt over Winter? Not really wanting to move away from the log fire you've got fully stocked in your Yurt? The Stables Cafe matches the ambiance of your Yurt with a traditional log fire that's kept lit throughout the Winter, creating a warming, welcoming & traditional Peak District Cafe mere meters away from your accommodation. Throughout the Summer, guests are able to get Cold Soft drinks, Beers, Ice Creams, Cakes & Lunches to eat in or take out on your Peak District Walk. Our terrace is also open throughout the year - an ideal place to catch the sun with a refreshing beverage!
Peak District Walks
The Peak District is best explored and seen on foot - and hiring a Peak District Yurt is the ideal base for your expedition! The Tissington Trail is accessible right from our Car Park, which can be used to access any number of customizable circular walking routes that will take you right down into the heart of the Peak District, into famous locations such as the Dove Dale Stepping Stones or Tissington Village, and then right back to our car park where you started.
More information on our circular Peak District walks and a guided 'walk of the month' can be found in The Stables Cafe.
